system76-power was failing to compile due to the `dependency-on-unit-never-type-fallback` lint that became deny-by-default in Rust 1.92.0 [1]. It was fixed upstream in 1.2.8 [2]. 1.2.1-r2 suffers from the same issue; I assume it's better to drop it entirely rather than backport a linter fix, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
